Swedish Massage is one of the basic types of massage that is taught in basic massage school. Almost everyone who is a professional massage therapist knows Swedish Massage.The goal of Swedish Massage is to use relaxing massage strokes to reduce the tension of the body. I have been doing Swedish Massage for 23 years now but I also have combined it with a few other therapies through the years to create my own version of Swedish Massage. I use the basic premises of Swedish massage to open up the blood flow to different areas and combine it with triggerpoint therapy and deep tissue work to provide a therapeutic massage for addressing tension which is the cause of most of our health problems. Getting regular weekly Swedish massage can help with things like anxiety and depression as well as help relieve stress. You will leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. When you feel better, things in your life will flow better. Many people will be able to be more creative, clearer about what they want and feel more self confidence.
