Pregnancy Massage in Downtown Seattle

Getting a pregnancy massage (a massage during pregnancy) can be helpful in relieving the stress on the body and the mind due to the pregnancy.

Some of the changes that happen to the body during pregnancy include: lengthening of ligaments in the pelvic area to prepare for birth, reduced breathing capacity, swelling in the hands and feet and back pain can be reduced with regular massage. It is recommended that you get massage once a week starting after the first trimester and going right up to the birth.

Massage can be done to make the process of pregnancy more comfortable (if there is such a thing!)

Massage is done mostly from a sidelying position to ensure the safety of the baby and mother.
